I'm back in Vancouver now. Sorry it's taken me a while to get back into the swing of posting. Here I go with some important news items, first.
***
August marks the one year anniversary for The Commodified! Some kind of celebration for this milestone will hopefully be underway within the next month.
***
Exclusive photos provided by The Commodified appeared in the August issue of Modette Magazine (Sweden). Only six were published, but all ten should be available soon enough by clicking the above link.
***
The Commodified was to be in competition against Odessa on StreetClash this week. For some unknown reason Odessa dropped out, so Vancouver has moved on to the next round by acclamation alone! Hoorah!

For some time now, I've also been wanting to announce that Aryana Sye would be joining the team as a contributing photographer. I quite randomly bumped into her on Robson Street today, and am pleased to introduce her now by picturing her here, looking chic as ever:

lol brown and black = fail
In Aryana's defence, it was actually brown and navy blue, which in my opinion = incredible!
lol.
ps. i like to think my readers are above rules like "don't wear black and brown together" and "you should always match your shoes and belt".
Ummm brown and black = pass (a+ if you do it right). lol.

actually your underwear shirt and sox should match, then your shoes and your belt and/or accesories with pants that are a complimentary color to the shirt sox and undies. jackets ALWAYS should show the cuff of a long sleave, and can be ANY color if its over 700 dollars....
get it!?
Yeah, brown and navy blue are lovely together.
I never understood why you couldn't wear black and brown together, but it really doesn't look good!
There are no fashion laws about the mixing and matching of 'colors' per se, it's how you put your look together in the end. I love the misconceptions though.
...Is there puke on the ground in front of this girl?
Brown and navy is much more aesthetically pleasing than black and navy.
Not really digging it - there are too many elements here fighting for attention. I like the boots though.
are you kidding me? black and navy is fantassssstic.
